How in the midst of all of these pumpkin pie flavored latte's, changing leaf colors and busy hustle and bustle of life am I supposed to figure out what I am going to be for Halloween. Girl I got you! I have hand picked various items from the shop and taken photos to help get your Halloween pumpkin rolling. Please come into the shop and check out the items yourself!

Strain the mixture into the bottle. The best technique is to take the funnel into the mouth of the jar, place the strainer at the top of the funnel and pour mixture in. The ginger chunks will be strained out.

Taking the time to relax.

Thrift Junkie Vintage is a full time job. I look forward to every time I open. The best way to always move in a positive direction is to start my mornings off right. One of the steps to starting a morning off on the correct side of the bed is to start it in silence. I love to sit in my sunroom and drink my morning coffee. The natural light and plants and art help ease me into my day. Websites like Pinterest help me collect my decorating ideas to make such calming spaces. What do your morning spots look like?

Inside the Collectors Closet

Saturday's are always an exciting day for Thrift Junkie Vintage Boutique. It's a day of exploring the community I live in. Checking out farmers markets and estate sales. Sometimes the avenues can be explored on my bicycle and other days in old trusty, my Nissan Frontier Truck so lovingly named River Joaquin Phoenix ( because who can chose their favorite of those two?)

As a collector you will start to notice that there is limited space for all of your amazing items and so organization is key. Thanks to amazing websites like Pinterest you can easily get ideas of how to organize your vintage finds in a beautiful manner. Today I am showing you a sneak into my own tiny bedroom that holds some of my most beloved finds. Enjoy!

After living by the ocean for a few years, my stone and shell collection can get overwhelming.

Necklaces can be color coordinated and placed together by "like" items.

These are just layered necklaces held up by push pins in a row.

The rings would be beautiful to display, but who has that kind of space? Instead I went to Micheals and purchased a little wooden box that I hand painted with acrylic paint.

Fits in perfectly!

Bracelets can easily be hidden away in an old vintage center storage foot rest.

These are just a few helpful hints how to creatively organize your collections instead of overwhelming yourself with all of your amazing vintage finds.

Roll Bicycle Art Show

Just another reminder that Thrift Junkie Vintage Boutique will be parked out at the Roll Bicycle Art Festival tomorrow night. There is going to be live music by the amazing and talented Indy award winners Grant Sabin and Mike Clark as well as beautiful art by Josh Kennard, various bicycle enthusiast, the levitator lounge, food trucks, rain or shine! Yahoo! At the AHA, Krueser, Smokebrush Gallery Art Depot.

Move over Game of Thrones

As the spring season moves into the summer, and all of the seeds of your labor sprout into the beautiful plants that you will harvest all summer and fall, so too does Thrift Junkie grow. I know that Game of Thrones season finale is coming to a conclusion and you all are going to be needing something else to tune into and follow up on week after week. I would like Thrift Junkie Vintage to be that next program that you look forward to tune into. That being said, here is a preview of all of the work that has been done to get her to the state she's currently in. Enjoy!
